We're proud to announce the winners of LocalEats' first annual
Best Barbecue Restaurants in America. Identifying the nominees and
selecting the winners was a big task, and our fingers are still
sticky - but, we're excited to present the winners to all our
readers.
The selections represent a variety of styles and regions, from
Kansas City to Memphis, Carolina to Texas, both 'wet' and 'dry, and
'whole-hog'. But, simply selecting representatives of different
styles and regions was not our goal - the goal was simply to
identify the very best barbecue in the country, and we feel this
list is an accurate (and incredibly tasty) representation. Let's
get started - here are the 20 winning restaurants, listed
alphabetically.
