From the restaurant's website:
"The Blackbird's goal is to delight its guests with cooking grounded in the traditions and ingredients of the Carolinas creating an affordable and vibrant menu – Modern Southern with a 'nod' to tradition. The menu features the seasonal best from local farmers, fresh catches from the coast of the Carolinas, as well as the many incredible local micro-brews and great wines from the Americas. Chef Bobby Buggia has been cooking all over the country, from South Carolina at the Mobil Four-Star/AAA Four-Diamond Peninsula Grill in Charleston to San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa Valleys and even a few unique spots in the 'fly-over zone.' His cuisine is routed in the land of the South, its people, farmers, and fishermen."
