Almost as much bar as barbecue, Fat Bob’s Smokehouse consistently wins awards for serving what many consider to be the best barbecue in Buffalo. The huge custom-built smoker on the heated patio makes you feel like you’re at a backyard barbecue with friends and family, while the interior features red-and-white checkered tablecloths and an aquarium separating the bar from the dining area. The barbecue boasts St. Louis-style pork ribs, Memphis-style pulled pork shoulder and Texas-style beef brisket in a number of sandwiches and entrées. Popular starters include brisket or barbecue shrimp quesadillas, grilled barbecue chicken wings, cornmeal-fried rock shrimp, catfish fingers, shrimp gumbo, and chili, while sandwiches include burgers, sloppy Joes, smoked turkey and chicken salad. Grilled salmon and fried chicken or catfish are also available.
Kids' menu. Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner nightly. Late-night Fri–Sat.
