Best Brewpub

Open since 1997, Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is one of the few brewpubs in Buffalo, and it’s hard to not have a great time here, with three floors of bars, dining rooms, three elevated patios, billiard tables and electronic games, plus a knockout view of Lake Erie. Signature beers include the Trainwreck (a German-style amber), Lake Effect pale ale, Street Brawler Stout and Lighthouse Premium Blonde, plus a variety of seasonal and specialty beers. To accompany the brews, start with smoked Gouda beer and cheese soup, made with house-brewed beer. Other appetizers/munchies may include deep-fried sausage ravioli, Buffalo wings, pizza logs, and pub fries with jack and cheddar cheeses. Also available are various salads, half-pound burgers and hearty sandwiches, plus entrées such as beer-braised pot roast, fried fish, steaks and salmon. The beer-braised kielbasa and six-cheese bow tie pasta are considered some of the city’s best meat and pasta dishes, respectively.

Kids' menu. Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily.

"Three elevated outdoor patios allow an enjoyable dining experience during the warmer months. Personality and location (near the baseball stadium and arena) have combined with first-rate microbrews and a varied menu to help Pearl Street thrive."
