Best Brunch

Brunch favorites at Wishbone include Eggs Benedict, Beef Brisket Hash, and Savannah Shrimp Omelet.

From the restaurant's website:

"Southern Reconstruction Cooking has been our tongue-in-cheek description of the food. ... Our intention was simple: to go back to the basics of preparing sophisticated fresh food at popular prices. ... We chose to pursue the more self-effacing craft once found (and usually underappreciated) in the home. ... We made up for the labor-intensive quality of the food by keeping table settings simple and service casual and friendly."

Kids' menu. Full bar. Serving breakfast and lunch Mon–Fri, dinner Tue–Sat. Sat–Sun brunch 8 am–3 pm.

"You can't go wrong at this three-meals-a-day, casual, comfortable dining gem. Best grits in town. Catfish, gumbo, pan-fried chicken—it's all here. Prices are rock bottom, but the quality is tops. Weekend brunch menu is something else. Don't miss this one."
