For appetizers, try the vegetable pakora (vegetables fried in a chickpea batter) or samosas, which are deep-fried pastries stuffed with potatoes and peas. Warm and delicious Indian flat bread, called nan, is available in onion, garlic and chicken flavors. Lamb and shrimp curry are winners on the dinner menu, along with aloo vindaloo (potatoes cooked in a spicy sauce) and saag choley (garbanzo beans and spinach cooked in a tomato and cream sauce).
