From the restaurant:
"[Since 1982], Perry's Delicatessen has provided Chicago with the biggest and best "Old World" deli sandwiches from its location on Franklin Street, in Chicago's financial district. Prepared fresh daily, Perry's mouth-watering sandwiches are made from premium meats, slow-cooked in our ovens and combined with our own long-standing recipes, homemade sauces, and other unique and savory ingredients. ... Perry's sandwiches are piled high with a variety of high-quality meats including corned beef, pastrami, succulent roast beef, turkey, and beef brisket. Perry's features many famous signature sandwiches including the Peter Panski, the Mad Moscow, Frenchy's Fantasy, and the Smokey Burnstein, just to name a few. As a bonus, Perry's has a quality breakfast menu, great for early-morning meetings or just to jump-start your day."
No alcohol available. Serving breakfast and lunch Mon–Fri. Closed Sat–Sun.
"The (sometimes long) wait at this classic Chicago spot is rewarded with deli classics like matzo ball soup (though, it's only served on Mondays); hot, juicy pastrami; and "Perry's Favorite"—corned beef, Jack cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing piled high on fresh rye. It's also one of the few places in the area to get a real chocolate malt, and a tasty one at that."
