ADDRESS: 248 S Fourth St , Columbus, OH 43215

CUISINE: Hot Dogs, Late-Night Dining

FEATURES: Full Bar, Handicap Access, Kid Friendly, Smoke Free, Vegetarian Friendly

DETAILS

Innovative dogs and slushy drinks (which they’ll happily spike at the bar) have proved a winning combo for this kitschy Columbus tribute to all things tubesteak. Creative dog treatments include The Ohioana (topped with spicy corn relish and celery salt), Sarva’s Totcho Dog (tater tots, cheese sauce, onion and jalapeno) and the Seoul Dog (kimchee, mayo and a drizzling of sriracha).

Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner until late night daily. From the restaurant's website:
"Dirty Franks Hot Dog Palace serves all-beef, vegan and vegetarian hot dogs, cold beer and dazzling drinks!"

"I thought Frank's made a very solid (and messy!) Chicago Dog and Chili Dog, but my favorites so far are the T-Dog (sriracha mustard, roasted red peppers, bacon bits and sharp cheddar) and the extra-meaty Whoa Nellie! (topped with delicious beef brisket - you read that right! - and a touch of barbecue sauce)."
