DETAILS
Dallas dining landmark Abacus has earned singular praise from local and national media alike. From the sleek Knox-Henderson neighborhood establishment, chef/part-owner Kent Rathbun serves a seafood-dominated world-tour menu that proves to be less fusion cuisine and more of a side-by-side presentation of multicultural fare. Mediterranean, Cajun, Southwestern and Pacific Rim influences stand out. The signature lobster scallion shooters, served with red chile coconut sake, are one of the menu’s most popular items. Full bar. Serving dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun. "Each global corner takes a bow from within his food, from the ancho honey-glazed quail with a jack cheese tamale and Shiner Bock barbecue, to the soy-glazed wild salmon with stir-fried Brussels sprouts, to the braised Kobe short rib with a shiitake mushroom sticky rice cake, your senses will be invigorated into sublimity."
