DETAILS
Jim Pittenger (who indeed, does ride a Harley) quit his gig repossessing cars to peddle exotic sausages on the streets of Denver. His wildly successful street carts led to a brick-and-mortar store, featuring beyond-the-ordinary dog varieties such as elk with jalapeno cheddar, wild boar, rattlesnake and pheasant, and reindeer.  The Biker Jim’s “Classic” topping treatment consists of a touch of cream cheese and caramelized onions.

Kids' menu. Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily. Late night Fri-Sat.  From Travel & Leisure magazine:
"Featured on the Travel Channel's No Reservations and Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Biker Jims Dogs's fame reaches far beyond its Five Points restaurant in Denver. Jim Pittenger, biker and former repo man, started serving his gourmet take on one of America's favorite foods as a street vendor, and it was his unique wild boar brats and rattlesnake and pheasant dogs that caught the attention of locals and visitors."

"Affable Jim Pittenger, aka Biker Jim, repoed cars for a living before he turned to slinging sausages from a spotless stainless steel cart on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver. His wieners are split down the middle and charred on a gas grill, but most important is this: Jim's dogs are the antithesis of a ballpark frank."
