From the restaurant's website:
"We invite you to visit the acclaimed Downtown @ the HiSAM restaurant at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum. Proprietor Ed Kenney, also the owner of Town restaurant in Kaimuki, brings his “local first, organic whenever possible, and with aloha always,” approach to the downtown area. Located on the first floor of the museum, the restaurant serves lunch with deli-style takeout, casual in-house dining, and al fresco seating on the lanai by the swimming pool."

No alcohol available. Serving lunch Mon–Sat, dinner first Friday of every month. Closed Sun.

"The menu changes every day and is very much like the seasonal, organic restaurants of the San Francisco Bay Area. Downtown lists the local sources of their ingredients, and they always try to go organic."
