Best known for chili and chili dogs, Nicks' Chili Parlor also serves an excellent breaded pork tenderloin sandwich.
From the restaurant's website:
"Home of the 'Not Yet World Famous' Chili. Whether it be the 5-way, chili cheese dogs, or the pie and cake for dessert, this is the greatest place ever."
No alcohol available. Serving lunch and dinner daily.
"The chili is hearty, not too hot or betwitchingly spiced, but mighty satisfying, especially in concert with spaghetti noodles, red beans, finely grated cheddar cheese and crisp raw onions. Next time, I am going to pay 50 cents and get extra cheese on the chili. I ran out of it before excavating halfway through the bowl."
