Marrakech

Phone: 702-737-5611

Categories: Mediterranean , Moroccan , Middle Eastern , Prix Fixe

Features: Entertainment , Full Bar , Handicap Access , Kid Friendly , Smoke Free , Vegetarian Friendly

Marrakech invites all of the senses to celebrate Morocco. In addition to the smells and tastes, there’s rich décor — deep blue tile and traditional Moroccan artifacts and tapestries hang from the ceiling. Also, talented belly dancers shimmy, shake and even invite patrons to join in the dance. A few American restaurant standards, such as menus and silverware, are absent but not missed at Marrakech. Before and after the meal, guests wash their hands at the table using rose water. Kids love sitting on floor pillows and eating with their hands, and the intimate, communal nature of the food makes Marrakech a popular place for dates. Diners may enjoy a six-course meal, served family-style, that might include shrimp scampi, vegetable salad, lentil soup, lamb shish kabob, Cornish game hen and phyllo dough with fruit and nuts for dessert. The well-chosen wine list includes Algerian selections.

"Marrakech has re-created the exotic décor of the desert wanderers, providing a romantic ambience complete with comfortable booths for dining on traditional Moroccan food."
