Blended into obscurity by its strip mall setting, Vivoli Café is anything but obscure to informed L.A. foodies. The intimate West Hollywood darling has achieved near-cult status, winning the hearts of the neighborhood with its impeccable, warm service and authentic Italian cuisine since 2003 (and now with an additional area location). House-made ravioli, veal-stuffed cannelloni and a prime candidate for the city’s finest gnocchi demonstrate pasta at its finest, while roasted pork tenderloin, rack of lamb and perfectly cooked sea bass offer the best of Italian-style land and sea. End an evening to remember with a caffé latte and a selection from the decadent dessert menu.
Beer and wine available. Serving lunch and dinner daily. Sat–Sun brunch 11 am–4 pm.
Zagat 2011: 22 food rating (very good to excellent)
“Vivoli is one of those neighborhood restaurants we return to again and again for the simple, fresh cuisine and the smile of owner Donato Ciaraulo and his team.”
