From OpenTable and the restaurant:
"Browning's Brewery and Restaurant combines our love of baseball with our love of great food and well crafted beer. Named after Pete Browning, who was at one time baseball's biggest hitter, it is located in Slugger Field Stadium, the home of the minor league Louisville Bats. Pete loved his food and beer and in his honor Brewmaster Brian Reymiller crafts a variety of beers in our on-site three-story brewery that will satisfy any beer lovers palate. Our pub-style fare includes appetizers like Black & White Hummus, Pub Mussels, and Fried Green Tomatoes. We offer a delicious variety of salads, wraps and burgers served with our homemade potato chips. Browning's Beer Battered Fish, salmon, pastas and of course the Hot Brown, a Louisville tradition, are just a few of the entrees that can't be mistaken for traditional pub fare."

Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.

"As for the food, Browning's is one of those sweet spots where price and value are in perfect balance. Entrees top out at $15 (grilled salmon, with sautéed vegetables); there are plenty of attractive options in the $10 range. And although the slant is decidedly casual, Shariat gives each dish a few distinctive details that will surprise and delight the attentive diner."
