proprietor Mehrzad Sharbaiani has quickly built a reputation that has
spread well beyond Louisville since Z’s opened in 2000. The atmosphere
exudes class, with polished wood and brass, dim lighting, and old-school
supper club ambiance. Z’s features prime steaks aged for a month
on-site and fresh seafood flown in daily from locales including (but not
limited to) Hawaii, Maine and Washington state. A half-dozen varieties
of oysters are offered, and the signature "Best Filet in Town" and the
live Maine lobster highlight the extensive à la carte menu
