From the restaurant's website:
"Helmed by Demitrie Phillips, the kitchen at Bardog Tavern produces a simple and fresh menu of American classics with international flavors mixed in, especially those of the Italian variety. Our Spaghetti and Meatballs, based on my 88 year-old grandmother’s recipe (which she actually taught to the crew in person), has quickly become one of our standard dishes. And aside from our Original Memphis Sliders – tasty 3 oz. mini-burgers – and our Amazing Island Club, which are some of the best sandwiches in the Midsouth, we feature daily a fantastic Ahi Sushi Tuna on Won tons appetizer and the tastiest Tomato Bisque this side of the Mississippi (which we can almost throw a rock into)."

Admission age 21-and-over. Smoking at upstairs bar only. Full bar. Serving breakfast Mon–Fri, lunch and dinner daily. Late-night Mon–Sat. Sat–Sun brunch noon–3 pm.

Memphis magazine: Best Happy Hour, 2011 readers' poll

"Bardog's signature snack sums up the heart of its menu and ambience: something familiar (fries like McDonald's) updated with something new (bourbon mayonnaise — along with ketchup — served as a dip)."
