"When I first tried Pearl's Oyster House, it was the oysters and the mussel roast that kept me coming back. I still order oysters several ways and declare the mussels among the best (and certainly the most generous) in town. But, boy, do I love me the grouper sandwich at Pearl's."
 

"My favorite oyster is the one in front of me, and Pearl's can put them in front of you raw by the half-dozen, fried and in Po-Boy form, grilled, and steamed. They can also Rockefeller oysters with the best of them, that is, serve the shellfish in creamed spinach and parmesan cheese. Their version of oysters Bienville mates our marine mollusk with shrimp and mushroom Parmesan sauce."
