From the restaurant's website:
"Pumphouse Creamery is dedicated to producing the finest all-natural ice cream using local organic non-homogenized (cream top) milk and cream. The owner, Barb Zapzalka, who makes all the ice cream, is an extremist when it comes to sourcing local ingredients! Besides using local dairy, she makes use of summer berries (e.g. strawberries, red and black raspberries, blueberries) by harvesting them in season, using them fresh and year-round. Other local ingredients used are honey, maple syrup an apples. ... Stop in and choose from our 20 rotating selections of ice creams and sorbets."
Serving during lunch and dinner hours daily. Closed Mon from Thanksgiving through February.
"What's a classic farm treat from a classic farm kid doing in the middle of the city? Pleasing city slickers with rich, gooey ice-cream mainly."
