DESCRIPTION
A hit since its 2006 debut, Flyte World Dining and Wine earns its wings thanks to an imaginative, well-crafted menu in an equally imaginative industrial renovation in Nashville's revitalizing downtown district. Leading the kitchen these days is Matthew Lackey, the latest in the restaurant's string of talented chefs. Flyte makes great use of exposed brick and high-beamed ceilings to be one of the city's most attractive spaces. The bar area commands the front and has become a preferred destination for trendy urban professionals looking to mix and match creative appetizers with one of the city's best wine lists, thanks to co-owner and wine director Scott Sears. Meanwhile, the dining room lends itself to convivial dining groups both large and small. (The name of the restaurant itself derives from featuring thematic presentations of food and drink trios called "Flytes," a fine way to enjoy tasting portions of the house favorites.
"The food at Flyte is better than ever."
- Carrington Fox, Nashville Scene
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Full bar. Serving dinner Tue-Sat. Closed Sun-Mon.
