DETAILS
Dapper proprietor Mike Kelly usually greets the famous and the not-so-famous at the door of Jimmy Kelly's, the quintessential Nashville steak house that his grandfather first opened in 1934. The supper club-like atmosphere of this restored Victorian mansion, the restaurant's Midtown home for more than a generation, regularly attracts local politicians and other city leaders. And rock star Neil Young once made the place his home away from home while working on an album in Music City. This place is old school with a capital O. Signature dishes besides the grilled steaks (which come with salad and baked potato or fries) include the Faucon salad, a shrimp rémoulade appetizer, Châteaubriand for two and pecan pie à la mode. Just don't fill up on the truly habit-forming corn cakes before dinner arrives! Full bar. Serving dinner Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
