One of the last places you'd expect to find a wonderful little Thai restaurant would be across the street from the sprawling Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. That's the case with Sukho Thai, however. Unfailingly gracious proprietor Boun Quang, Laotian-born and Thai-raised, likely will greet you at the door of the elegant yet homey spot. She'll say "sorry" if you have to wait more than a minute or two for a slender water glass to be filled or a delicious bowl of wonton soup to arrive. From the lengthy, authentic Thai menu, you won't be sorry by ordering one of the 'angries" — the spicy-hot (but deliciously so) angry pork, beef, shrimp or chicken vegetable stir-fries accompanied by fried rice. Curries, soups, salads, pork, poultry, beef, noodle, seafood, vegetables and tofu dishes round out the menu. Definitely get the crab rangoon as an appetizer or side.

Beer, wine and sake available. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, Mon–Sat. Closed Sun.
