Tazza

510 Church St
Nashville, TN 37219

Average Cost: $

Phone: 615-742-3223

Categories: American Traditional, Italian, Pizza

Features: Handicap Access, Kid Friendly, Smoke Free, Vegetarian Friendly

With family-oriented restaurants at a premium downtown, location is everything at Tazza, across from the downtown library and within walking distance of the growing condo and downtown hotel crowd. Once mainly a sandwiches and salads joint, the pleasantly redecorated restaurant has significantly expanded its hours and menu to what could be described as the kitchen sink approach. Lots of pasta and pizza options headline the menu. From the grill, there's everything from shrimp and salmon to chicken and steaks. Other options include dine-and-dash salads, sandwiches and finger foods such as fried chicken strips (five monstrous pieces, enough to feed two people), and chips and salsa. If you’re in a hurry, best to call ahead for takeout. If you’re dining in, know that Tazza’s food won’t make you forget your favorite restaurant in any category — this is basic, sauce-from-the-food-distributor stuff — but they won't skimp on the servings.

No alcohol available. Serving lunch and dinner daily.
