Best Brunch

A romantic, French bistro-style setting - a fireplace front and center, with brick floors and subdued lighting - awaits diners at Rick and Vicki Bolsom's West End staple The Tin Angel. Inspired by and named for Rick's favorite (now defunct) restaurant in his native New York City, Tin Angel has served some of Nashville's most consistent and healthy meals. The vegetarian-friendly menu features salads (with or without meat or seafood) and pasta dishes. Trout, pork loin and tangerine duck are all excellent entrée choices, as well. Try the coconut onion rings as an appetizer if they're offered. Although expanded in late 2005, Tin Angel is one of the city's most popular places for a power lunch, so expect a brief wait during peak hours. The Sunday brunch is among the area's best, with a brilliant rendition of huevos rancheros, corned beef hash and eggs, and banana brûlée French toast. Bellinis and the classic champagne cocktail are among brunchy beverage options. Reservations available for lunch and dinner.

"Tin Angel's secret to its longevity has a lot to do with the way it's a neighborhood haunt for the whole city, which remains possible in always-growing but still manageable Nashville."
- Gayot

Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner Mon–Sat. Sun brunch 11 am–3 pm.
