ADDRESS: 307 Exchange Place, New Orleans, LA 70130

CUISINE: Contemporary, Brunch, Vegetarian

FEATURES: Full Bar, Handicap Access, Patio Seating, Smoke Free, Vegetarian Friendly

DETAILS

With Chef Paul Artigues (formerly of Surrey's Juice Bar) leading the kitchen, Green Goddess continues to enchant diners from its French Quarter alleyway site.

Full bar. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner Wed-Sun. Closed Mon-Tue. From the restaurant's website:

"The Green Goddess opened in May 2009 with a progressive menu that blends New Orleans sensibilities with a wide-ranging sampling of ingredients, all emanating from the small open kitchen where chefs Chris DeBarr and Paul Artigues made it happen. Chef Chris has moved on, but Chef Paul continues the story with his own globetrotting menu that spans a world of tastes and flavors. We are as comfortable with showcasing Louisiana seafood, sausages, and local produce as we are bringing in exotic ingredients that reference New Orleans' historic role as one of the greatest port cities in the world, where anything can be found."

"This is a wickedly creative restaurant, a trove of interesting eats packed into a beguilingly small space. More often than not, they master the bedeviling details of the complex culinary concept they have undertaken. But even when things aren't quite under control, they still create something unique for New Orleans."
