The restaurant's owner Dorothée Mitrani-Bell, a graduate from UC Berkeley's Environment design program (1994), won an award in excellence in 1998 for 'outstanding storefront improvements' and rehabilitation of its beautiful 1875 building. ... The stunning interior patio [is] open April-October."
Beer and wine available. Serving breakfast daily, lunch Mon-Fri, dinner Thu-Sat. Sat-Sun brunch 8 am-3 pm.
"La Note starts out by doing everything your standard breakfast place can do, but better. The coffee's good, the lattes are better (they're served in a big bowl), and pancakes? You'd better believe it. Purists can go for the Crème Fraîche pancakes, white and fluffy with a drizzle of crème fraîche over the stack."
