Widely acknowledged as the area's premier Korean restaurant, Sushi Kim's much-recommended cook-your-own Korean barbecue buffets are available only on Friday and Saturday nights, or by reservation.

"Owner Mr. Kim offers 30-40 Korean specialties, with an array of sushi and sashimi. The expanded selection of both cooked and vegetarian sushi starts from a la carte to combination platters and is presented in a variety of sizes of 'boats' and traditional dishes."


"When Korea-born Kim arrived in Pittsburgh, he opened a tiny restaurant with a four-seat sushi bar. Since then, in stages, he has purchased the building next door, added a second story above, extended the sushi bar, built a koi pond and added an upstairs all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue. "
