Features: Handicap Access , Kid Friendly , Smoke Free , Vegetarian Friendly

There's nothing quite like a scoop of homemade ice cream on a hot summer day. Or on a clear Friday night. Or a blustery winter afternoon, humid spring morning, chilly fall evening.. The truth is, ice cream is always a treat when it's made from the freshest natural ingredients in the French-custard style. When Canadian native Harry Brathwaite moved to North Carolina in 1988 to launch his own ice cream business, he had no idea Goodberry's would become a Tarheel staple. Now locals can enjoy their mini, regular or jumbo custard at several Triangle locations or from their seats at a North Carolina State football or Durham Bulls baseball game. Chocolate, vanilla or the flavor of the day (anything from Key lime to Burgundy Cherry to Chocolate Chocolate Chip): Each is concocted hourly on location to ensure freshness. You simply cannot leave, though, without trying one of Goodberry's signature Carolina Concretes, any basic flavor loaded with your choice of more than 30 toppings (Oreos, marshmallows, Nestle Crunch, blueberries, etc.). There are no-sugar-added "lite" selections available, as well. And don't forget the sundaes, shakes and hot dogs.

No alcohol available. Serving during lunch and dinner hours daily. Late-night (until midnight) Fri-Sat.
