Located in the historic Omni La Mansión del Rio hotel along the River Walk, Las Canarias derives its name from the 1731 band of Canary Islanders, who were integral in the founding of San Antonio. Experience the elegant yet relaxed Spanish-inspired ambiance in the two-tiered dining room or on the outdoor patio overlooking the river under the shade of palms. Signature dishes include buffalo carpaccio, crab-stuffed swordfish tempura and roasted rack of lamb. The Sunday champagne brunch is a local favorite featuring a large selection of meat carvings, Texas cheeses, omelets, Belgian waffles and even sushi.
Reservations suggested. Kids' menu. Full bar. Serving breakfast Mon–Sat, lunch and dinner daily. Sun champagne brunch 10 am–2 pm.
