Not a place for the light eater or faint of pocketbook, downtown's historic Gaslight Quarter's Rei Do Gado Brazilian Steakhouse specializes in the churrasco-style southern Brazilian barbecue feasts that include unlimited salad and buffet bar, and eat-until-you're-stuffed, rotisserie-grilled meats. Meat waiters go table to table with skewers of filet mignon, pork, lamb, poultry, baby back ribs and sausage. Favorite appetizers and side dishes include black bean stew, banana fritas, grilled vegetables, eggplant casserole, fried yucca, and Italian sausages, cheeses and olives. Try pudim (Brazilian flan) or passionfruit mousse for dessert.

 

Reservations suggested on weekends. Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily.
