Volterra

425-202-7201  •  $$$
ADDRESS: 121 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland, WA 98033

CUISINE: Italian, Farm to Table

FEATURES: Full Bar, Handicap Access, Smoke Free, Vegetarian Friendly

DETAILS
With spots in the Ballard neighborhood and Kirkland, chef-owner Don Curtiss's Italian favorite Volterra specializes in Tuscan-inspired fare with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients.
Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily. "'This is the dish that drove Volterra’s success,' a waiter said proudly, delivering the wild boar tenderloin that once enchanted Rachael Ray. The quite tender meat tasted rather tame, as did the gorgonzola-mustard sauce, blanketing it like gravy over chicken-fried steak. Still it was a satisfying dish, sided with crisp roasted potatoes and fennel sautéed with frisee."
— Providence Cicero, Special to The Seattle Times, Jan. 18, 2013
