A solid choice for an excellent steak at an excellent price, Tucker's
Place has been a popular steak house since opening its doors in 1982.
The original Tucker's Place on South 12th Street in the historic Soulard
neighborhood — there are two other locations — features a dark,
comforting interior with a classic steak house ambiance. Diners can't go
wrong with any of the choice chops, including the porterhouse, strip,
filet mignon and top sirloin. Each cut — priced at about half the going
rate at upscale steak house chains — comes with salad (try the signature
lemon pepper dressing), baked potato and rolls. Other entrée choices
include pork chops, seafood and pizza.
Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Sat, dinner nightly. Late night Fri–Sat.
"Affordable prices allow carnivores to get their steak fix without breaking the bank."
