El Cap

727-521-1314  •  $
ADDRESS: 3500 Fourth St N , St Petersburg, FL 33704
CUISINE: Burgers, Sports Bar/Pub Food, Chili, Sandwiches, Subs/Hoagies/Po-boys, Wings
FEATURES: Handicap Access, Kid Friendly, Patio Seating, Smoke Free, Full Bar, Wi-Fi
DESCRIPTION
An unassuming sports bar and grill that most tourists wouldn't know how to find, El Cap serves some of the best  burgers in St. Petersburg. Locals know to make themselves at home by relaxing in front of the sports-dominated TV sets or listening to the jukebox. Besides the classic burgers, other favorites include chicken wings and tenders, chili, and sandwiches such as ham on rye or a Philly cheese steak. Know that when you order a sandwich, such as Swiss cheese on white, that it will fit the menu description precisely (without any additional toppings), though you may ask for extra fixings if you so desire. This is a good ol' mom-and-pop shop, so expect comfortable surroundings and cuisine with no frills.
"I liked the size of the burger because it reminded me of the patties my mom used to make that were not to big or not too small. And the taste impressed with the toasted bun, juicy burger, and grilled onions combining for a great burger."
- Scallywag Journeys blog
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Full bar. Serving lunch and dinner daily.
