From the restaurant's website:
"The name Ceiba [pronounced SAY-bah] pays tribute to the imposing umbrella-shaped tree found throughout the new-world tropics, and not surprisingly, the food is Contemporary Latin American cuisine, specifically Yucatan (Vera Cruz and Cancun), Brazilian (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro), Peruvian, and Cuban. Chef-owner Jeff Tunks and his partners made extensive research and buying trips to Brazil and the Yucatan, and it shows in the menu, the presentation, and the restaurants dramatic décor."
Full bar. Serving lunch Mon–Fri, dinner nightly.
"The main game plan includes such dishes as a capacious crock of a Brazilian shellfish stew, or the braised pork shank served feijoada-style."
