
Sixty-six percent of casual-dining chains are experiencing a decline in
the turnover of hourly employees, and 31.8 percent report their
turnover of managers has declined, easing recruitment pressures,
according to the latest research from People Report, based in Dallas.
The information highlights a rare positive bit of news for the
hard-pressed sector, though employment pressures are easing in part
because of the sector’s slowdown in expansion, the result in turn of
difficult economic problems, the researcher said.
