The 5th annual Chef’s Alliance Dinner, a collective
and charitable dinner, conducted by Indy’s 10 best chefs, is an effort
to create funds and awareness for Riley’s Children Hospital (that means
tax deductible, full bellies, and good karma). The dinner will be at
the wonderful Oceanaire Seafood Room downtown, where Chef Ryan Nelson
will work with Chefs Greg Hardesty, Tony Hanslits, Eli and Nicole
Anderson of H2O Sushi (best sushi in town), Karl Benko, Regina
Mehallick of R Bistro, Marc Urwand and Diedra Henry of Taste Café, and
Krissy and David Tallent (aka “the bad ass Tallents” – my own personal
name for them) of Restaurant Tallent in Bloomington. The chefs will
work as a team to prepare a series of meticulously “choreographed”
dishes, each paired with wonderfully selected wines, graciously
provided by MoetHennessyUSA and National Wine and Spirits.
Who's cooking? Last year's line up returns with Chefs Greg Hardesty, Tony Hanslits (Chef's Academy), Eli and Nicole Anderson (H2O Sushi), Karl Benko, Regina Mehallick (RBistro), Marc Urwand and Deidra Henry (Taste Cafe) and, of course, Dave and Krissy Tallent (Restaurant Tallent). Book your space now. This dinner will sell out.
