from 11:00am to 5:00pm, both days at Fall Creek Vineyards, Tow Texas.
The annual “Grape Stomp” is a two-Saturday traditional favorite; full
of fun and activity for all ages! With great anticipation and
excitement, families enjoy winery tours, live local music on the
vineyard patio, Castle Bounce, a play house, hayrides, chain-saw ice
carving, and, of course, the excitement of your own “bare” feet grape
stomping, “I Love Lucy”-style with the video playing, in wine barrels,
all free of charge! Receive a free souvenir wine glass with $4 wine
tasting.

lunch and the culinary talents of the following Chef’s August 22nd 1st
Course Chef/owner Leu Savanh of Zagat Rated August E’s Restaurant in
Fredericksburg, will prepare his Signature Crab Cake Stacks made of
Sweet, Tender Lump Crabmeat, Butter Crostini, Avocado, Tomato, and a
Wasabi Mayo Emulsion. 2nd course Chef Michael Flores of San Antonio, is
a noted cookbook author, gourmet instructor and can be seen cooking on
the morning show Great Day SA.
Chef Michael will be preparing Chile
Pasilla Lamb on Preserved Lemon and Olive Couscous with a Fried
Eggplant Jam. August 29th 1st Course Chef/Owner David Garrido of
Garrido’s in Austin and former chef of Jeffrey’s, will prepare Shrimp
Tostados with Mango Aioli, and Julienne Vegetables with Pumpkin and
Watermelon Salad. 2nd Course Chef Brian Hay of the TV Show “Austin
Cooks” and Program Director of ACC’s Culinary Arts Program, will be
preparing a puffed pastry with American style Beef Tenderloin, Canadian
Brined Pork Loin on Fried Greens with Smoked Corn Salsa, Habanera Cream
Sauce and Cabernet Cranberry Sauce.
Lunches will be paired with two
glasses of award-winning Fall Creek Vineyards wines at 2 seatings each
Saturday, 11:30am and 1:30pm, by reservation/325/379-5361 for
$22/person, all inclusive of food and wine! Don’t worry about the Texas
heat, as all activities are either inside the winery or under shade
tents or on the covered patio with misters to keep you cool.
Additionally, there will be delectable catered food on the patio to
purchase, including Sandwiches, cheese plates, fruit cups, as well as
Hot Dogs and French Fries for the children.

To celebrate the 20th Fall Creek Grape
Stomp, join Chef, Author and TV Cooking Star Michael Flores for a
fabulous private 3-course seated dinner in the winery dining room with
owners Ed & Susan Auler. This dinner for 12 lucky persons will be
offered on Aug. 22 @ $82/person, inclusive of a delicious menu paired
with library wines. Pre dinner wine and cheese nibbles will begin at
5:00pm with dinner to follow and conclude at 8:00pm.
