Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP) is traveling to Dallas on May 14. “Tasters will be exposed to a rainbow of Zinfandels, from various growing regions,” explains ZAP’s Executive Director, Rebecca Robinson. “Attendees will meet winemakers and winery owners who have traveled from California to introduce their Zinfandels to these enthusiastic consumers,” she adds.
The tasting will take place at The Tower Club, 1601 Elm Street, 48th floor (214/220-0403, www.clubcorp.com). The tasting is co-sponsored with The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas www.winefoodfoundation.org. Members of the trade are welcome from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. RSVPs are necessary in advance by contacting www.zinfandel.org. The public is invited from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Public ticket prices start at $45. ZAP and Wine & Food Foundation of Texas members, discounted tickets are $40.
