The fourth annual Dine Out with the Chefs, returns Oct. 4 to the newly renovated Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts with an impressive roster of more than 20 of the Valley's top chefs.
The evening, which benefits the center's youth education and outreach programs, will feature a walk-around feast provided by Payton Curry (Digestif), Michael Rusconi (Lon's at the Hermosa Inn), Lee Hillson (T. Cook's at the Royal Palms), Eric Howson and Salvador Prado (Alto Ristorante at the Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch), Matt Carter (Nine 05, Zinc Bistro, the Mission), James Porter (Petite Maison), Paul Carter and Victor Casanova (Il Terrazzo at the Phoenician), and Gio Osso (Estate House).
Also on tap will be Donald Lemperle (Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian Scottsdale), Carolyn Ellis (Arcadia Farms), Lester Gonzalez (Kazimierz World Wine Bar), Rick Roberts (Cowboy Ciao), Mel Mecinas (Talavera at the Four Seasons Resort), Jacques Qualin (J&G Steakhouse at the Phoenician), Juan Solorio (SWB at the Hyatt Gainey) and Jeffrey Yankellow (Simply Bread).
We can get construction updates from Tracy Dempsey (formerly of Cowboy Ciao, Kazimierz, and Digestif) on her new Galette Dessert Bar, scheduled to open somewhere in Scottsdale by next year. Perhaps she'll be sharing secrets with other Dine Out dessert attendees Ellie Joseph ("Truffle Master" of Eleanor Joseph Confections) and Helen Yung (ice cream chef at Sweet Republic).
