Case in point: He'd never been to Hot Doug's (Chicago's Best Hot Dogs on Where the Locals Eat.com]. That was corrected when he was in town to promote his new book, Drinking With George, and WGN reporter Marcus Leshock took him to the encased meat emporium. Doug Sohn is as polite as usual, but the real deal is watching that wondrous look on Wendt's face when he eats a fully loaded Chicago dog. All he can manage is, "It's really good."
