From
the metrocurean blog in DC: Metrocurean has received a tip from a reliable source that Bravo will
start filming the next season of "Top Chef" in DC next week.
It's been previously reported that the popular chef competition was eying the nation's capital for its next stop.
Judge Tom Colicchio (pictured) told a crowd last night
that filming will start April 5 in a new unnamed city. That could mean
crews will get rolling sooner, before the talent arrives.
DC has already been well represented on the show — our Top Chef alums include chefs Bryan Voltaggio of
Volt and Mike Isabella of
Zaytinya from last season, Carla Hall (season 5) and Spike Mendelsohn (season 4), who opened
Good Stuff Eatery on Capitol Hill after his run on the show.
And what better time to film in DC than during our fluffy pink cherry blossom season? Here's hoping it's true.
