Where The Locals Eat Sets Out to Determine America’s Favorite Food in a March Madness-Style Bracket Challenge
Nashville, TN – Where The Locals Eat, the company behind leading smartphone dining application LocalEats and popular website WhereTheLocalsEat.com, has asked America to go online and fill out a Food Fight Bracket to help determine America’s favorite food. In this foodie version of March Madness, Where the Locals Eat has matched up 64 food choices to face off in what they’re calling the Food Fight Bracket Challenge. Participants customize a bracket with their personal food preferences and when the most popular Food Fight champion food is crowned on March 31, the participant that racked up the most bracket points will receive an Apple iPad.
Where The Locals Eat users have already started filling out brackets at www.WhereTheLocalsEat.com/Challenge, but the contest will be open until 6 pm EST on March 19 for individuals to make their final selections. It’s free and quite simple for anyone to participate. Results will be announced the last two weeks of March, with the final four revealed on March 26 and the championship match-up to be named on March 29. Where The Locals Eat representatives say the competition is all about having some fun, and that people already make these choices every day. Will it be a deli sandwich or a burrito? A slice of pizza or a salad? The Food Fight Bracket pits these food options against one another in head-to-head competition that ultimately ends with one favorite food — and an Apple iPad.
