The Poteet Strawberry Festival® is one of the oldest, most popular events in the state of Texas. It is recognized as the largest agricultural festival in the state as well as one of the most exciting, dynamic festivals in the Greater Southwest.
Held annually in April, the festival has fourteen areas of continuous entertainment featuring concerts with nationally known Country Western and Tejano stars, gunslingers, clowns, puppets, regional bands, various contests, and rodeo performances. There is something for the whole family.
Don't miss these highlights:
Poteet Strawberry Judging and Auction - Our local growers have been producing award-winning strawberries for generations. See who takes top honors this year at the Berry Auction Saturday afternoon. Visit the Auction page for more information.
The Taste of Texas Foodshow is another big draw. Held on Sunday, the Foodshow attracts people from all over Texas and has been featured on various TV & Cable shows. Visit the Foodshow page for details.
