The Journey Home
This winter, restaurants participating in Baltimore Restaurant Week have committed to support The Journey Home,
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's plan to make homelessness rare and
brief. Every night, nearly 3,400 people experience homelessness, and,
through The Journey Home, those who are homeless can be moved to
permanent and supportive homes.
At participating restaurants, you will find donation boxes for The
Journey Home. We ask that while you are out enjoying Baltimore
Restaurant Week that you join Visit Baltimore, Downtown Partnership,
United Way, the restaurants and Mayor Rawlings-Blake in supporting this
effort with a kind donation. For more information on The Journey Home,
to volunteer or make a donation online, please visit www.endinten.org.
Text JOIN to 20222 to donate $10.00. Money raised from Friday,
January 21, 2011 to Sunday January 30, 2011 will benefit The Journey
Home, Baltimore's 10-year plan to end homelessness.
