(LOS ANGELES, CA; January 4, 2011)—Returning for its sixth season January 23‐28 and
January 30‐February 4, 2011, dineLA Restaurant Week connects the city’s top
restaurants with residents and visiting epicureans. Celebrating the rich culinary culture
in Los Angeles, dineLA Restaurant Week offers specially‐priced three‐course prix fixe
lunches and dinners at an exciting list of 297 restaurants throughout Los Angeles
County. Join LA INC. The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau and American
Express as they present Los Angeles’ beloved bi‐annual culinary event and honor the
“rock star” chefs that help make the city one of the nation’s most revered dining
destinations.
“We are fortunate to live in Los Angeles where we have access to such a variety of
dining options, from long‐standing institutions to new restaurants by nationally
acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs,” says Mark Liberman, president and CEO of LA INC.
“dineLA Restaurant Week is a testament to our local talent and consistently offers an
impressive list of participants. What’s great about this two week period is that diners
benefit from gaining access to the best food in LA at great prices. In return, the
2 restaurants have the opportunity to serve more customers during a traditionally slow
time.”
This season, dineLA Restaurant Week welcomes newcomers Jamie Lauren of
Beechwood, the iconic Inn of the Seventh Ray, and a restaurant often requested by
dineLA fans—David Lentz and Suzanne Goin’s The Hungry Cat. Buzzed about
restaurants like Bouchon, Nobu and Comme Ca are returning to the program along with
chefs such as Daniel Elmaleh of Cleo and Susan Feniger of STREET.”
dineLA Restaurant Week offers three dining categories (Deluxe, Premier, and Fine
Dining) with specially priced three‐course meals for lunch and/or dinner at hundreds of
