Beat the chill with heart-warming food
Restaurant Week offers great deals on great meals
From
hearty breakfasts to elegant dinners, many of Nashville’s favorite
eateries will offer special prices and menus during Restaurant Week,
Monday, January 17 through Sunday, January 23.
The event is
sponsored by Nashville Originals, a nonprofit association of 45 locally
owned independent restaurants in the Nashville area, as a way to
spotlight Nashville’s unique local dining establishments.
“We
think this is a terrific opportunity for Nashville diners to try new
restaurants and revisit familiar favorites while enjoying tremendous
prices,” said Rick Bolsom, Nashville Originals board president. “Many of
our members are creating special new menus for Restaurant Week, and
this is a great chance to try something new.”
Many participating
restaurants are offering three-course dinners featuring an appetizer or
salad, an entrée and a dessert for $20.11. At other member restaurants,
three-course dinners for $30.11 are on the menu. Joining this month’s
Restaurant Week are new members Rumours East, Puckett’s Nashville, Blind
Pig 55 and Fish & Co.
A few examples of Restaurant Week
specials: Jackson’s is offering a small plate, main and dessert for
$20.11; DrinkHaus is serving a different specialty coffee drink each day
for $2.11. Noshville’s three locations are featuring two “We Dare Ya”
Breakfasts with eggs, sausage, bacon, griddle cakes, potato cakes or
oatmeal and a beverage for $20.11 or lunch for two for $20.11. Lamb
Shank with Pappardelle, Pork T-Bone with Crushed Yukon Gold Potato and
Pan Sauce and Shrimp & Grits highlight Red Pony’s three-course
($30.11) Restaurant Week menu.
