The Clifton Center is a gathering place for art, culture and ideas that enrich our community.
For fifteen years the Clifton Center has hosted concerts, plays, films, lectures, weddings, art exhibits, dinners, and receptions and meetings of every kind. Its studios have seen the training of ballet dancers, painters, and potters, and its office spaces have been home to non-profit organizations involved in projects that have changed our community. Over the course of those fifteen years the Clifton Center has become part of the fabric of Louisville.
The Center is now in the early stages of a transformation of its mission that will bring to life a compelling new vision for our historic facility. This coming autumn will bring the debut of a program of concerts, films, exhibits, and educational programs that will bring participants closer than ever to powerful music, thought provoking art, and fascinating ideas that can change how we think about the world. Award winning musicians from diverse genres like roots, jazz, and world music will take the stage in the beautiful 500 seat Eifler Theatre. Art exhibits, workshops and lectures of all kinds will fill the Center's halls. We hope you will be a part of it all.
The first of these programs will be announced this summer, so come back often to learn more and get involved.
And remember that the Clifton Center is a beautiful facility available for all types of public events, from plays and concerts to weddings, receptions and business meetings.
