Long Island Craft Beer Week (LICBW) is a collaborative
venture created to raise awareness of the thriving local craft beer
culture and promote patronage at local establishments.
Uniting local breweries, restaurants, retailers, bars, and
business partners with beer enthusiasts, the first Long Island Craft
Beer Week will be a 10-day island-wide celebration of beer, the making
of beer, and the enjoyment of beer.
Long Island’s first Craft Beer Week will be filled with
entertaining and educational beer events—including special events like
Breakfast with the Brewers, The Golden Tap Awards Gala, and a
multi-location SimulCask. Meet the brewer nights, beer dinners, brewery
tours, a beer trivia team competition, cooking with beer classes, beer
tastings and more will be hosted by participating breweries, bars, and
restaurant owners.
Whether it is our award-winning breweries, our amazing
local bars and taverns, our outstanding restaurants, or our fast-growing
local beer scene, the first Long Island Craft Beer Week will unite beer
lovers from “The Island” and beyond.
Long Island Craft Beer Week will focus on our hometown
breweries yet will also celebrate award-winning national craft breweries
and promote locations where they can be enjoyed locally.
Long Island Craft Beer Week is a non-profit organization
overseen by an executive board comprised of brewery owners,
distributors, restaurateurs, retailers, event marketers. The executive
board will oversee the distribution of net proceeds to both local and
national charities.
Come out and celebrate the diversity of our local beer
culture at one of the many events being held at great establishments all
across Long Island.
